If an employee is set not to use time data to create paychecks, QuickBooks accepts their hours without complaint and never pays them. The QuickBooks tab lists anyone set that way.
In QuickBooks, fix this setting in the employee’s Payroll Info screen (Employees → Employee Center, right-click the employee, Edit Employee). Tick Use time data to create paychecks, then OK.
