## What you see, and what to do

| What you see | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| The password prompt keeps coming back | The connector's password doesn't match | Paste the password in again. If it is lost, ask us for a new one at [hello@timesheeta.com](mailto:hello@timesheeta.com) |
| `QBWC1053` | A dialog box is open in QuickBooks | Usually QuickBooks' annual upgrade prompt. Close it and run again |
| Stuck at 0% | The connector can't reach TimeSheeta | Check the computer's internet connection and try again |
| "Different company file" | This connection belongs to another company file | Expected if you restored a backup. Contact us before changing anything |
| `3180` "record needs to be locked" | QuickBooks couldn't lock a record it needed | See [error 3180](https://www.timesheeta.com/support/error-3180-record-locked) |

## Keep the QuickBooks computer on

The QuickBooks Web Connector checks for approved hours on a schedule; QuickBooks itself does not need to be open.
